On Thursday, November 19th, 2020 Curtis Dozier passed away. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Curtis was born in Jersey City to Florence Flowers and William Dozier on December 19th, 1957. In his early years he attended Clifford J. Scott High School and graduated from Orange High School Few years later he met Rena where they raised their daughter Ashley in East Orange.
Curtis had a passion for music of all types. His favorite groups were Wu-Tang Clan, The Whispers and Earth Wind and Fire. What He enjoyed more than anything was, being around his family and close friends. Even with him becoming partially handicapped nothing stopped him from missing family functions. He always wanted to dance and sing. He was the life of the party, always had a joke or two ready. Curtis was very happy with his life and wanted us all to celebrate his ongoings.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father William Dozier, his sister Vivian Dozier, his brother B.J. Dozier and his sister Crystal Flowers. He is survived by his mother Florence Flowers, his daughter Ashley Wilkerson of (East Orange), granddaughter Anajah Woods of (East Orange), his brother Mark Dozier of (Las Vegas, Nevada), his sister Linda Miller, his sister Zul-Latifatu Zahiratu of (Newark), William Flowers aka Billie of (Newark) and Nicole Flowers of (Newark) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly along with his love for his close friends and his
