Obituary
God loaned to us a beautiful loan, an earth angel, and He called her Tanasia Nataliya Wilson.
In March 1994 Tanasia was born at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center to Tyesha Wilson and Jaliyl Norman. Raised in Newark, New Jersey, Tanasia attended Alexander Street School, Camden Middle School, and Citizen High School. Tanasia also participated in the Essex County College Gateway to College program and completed continuing education courses in Fashion Styling at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, New York. Her interests and hobbies included hair design, fashion trends, video editing, and spending time with family and friends.
She reflected God’s plan for her life as a trusted confidant who was responsible, spiritual, affectionate, and prone to self-sacrifice to benefit others. Tanasia understood the laws of peace and harmony and desired to bring balance to the lives of those around her.
Her middle name, Nataliya, means “Gift from God” and she was indeed a gift to us all. On March 21, 2021, at the age of 26 years, God decreed that her mission on earth was complete and He called her home.
Tanasia is predeceased by Tyesha Wilson (mother) and survived by Jaliyl Norman (father); Donovan James (partner); Siblings: Jerrell, Shymar, Joshua, Shayne, Serenity, Alize, Nyya (predeceased), and Nyasia; Grandparents: Baaqia Uqdah, and Elena Wilson-Musgrave; Uncles: Danaayaal, Hanif, and Aqeel; Aunts: Fayruz, Ellen, and Katrina: a host of nieces, 1 nephew, and other relatives; Extended family members: Lisa James (Donovan’s mother), Courtney, Ashley, Jalisa, Sophia, Terrance, and Nicholas.
